Privacy policy

Kruse Media LLC operates mrpaidsocial.com and the Meta app named Mr. Paid Social Chat. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, who processes it, how long we keep it, and how to reach us.

Mr. Paid Social Chat listens on the Mr. Paid Social Facebook Page and on Instagram. If you comment on one of those posts and the comment matches a keyword, the app does four things:

It receives the comment.
It receives your Page-scoped ID (Facebook) or Instagram-scoped ID, and your name.
It sends a public reply on that post.
It sends you a direct message with the resource the keyword asked for.

We use the comment to deliver that resource. We do not sell it, and we do not use it to build an advertising audience.

What we store

For each matched comment we store:

Your contact ID, which is the Page-scoped ID or Instagram-scoped ID Meta gives us
Your name
The comment text
A message delivery log: whether the public reply and the direct message were sent, and when

We do not receive your password. We do not receive a list of your friends.

Why we store it

We store the contact ID and name so the public reply and the direct message go to the person who commented. We store the comment text so we can see which keyword matched and which resource to send. We store the delivery log so we can tell whether the message went out, retry a failed send, and answer a support or deletion request.

You asked for the resource by commenting the keyword. That request is why we process the comment, the ID, and the name. We keep the delivery log because we need it to run the app and to respond to you.

If you type an email address into a form on this site, we use it to send the newsletter. New signups from this site are sent to Flodesk when that provider is configured. Flodesk stores the address and sends the email. You can unsubscribe in any message they send. Kit (kit.com, formerly ConvertKit) stores the address and sends the email when that provider is selected instead.

We do not sell the list. This site does not ask you to create a password.

Site hosting and logs

This site does not run a separate analytics product. The pages do not include an advertising pixel or a third-party analytics script.

Vercel hosts the site. Like most hosts, it may keep standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type, and the page you requested, so the site can stay up and be secured. We do not use those logs to build a profile or to advertise to you.

Processors

These companies process personal data for us:

Supabase stores the app database: contact ID, name, comment text, and the delivery log.
Vercel hosts mrpaidsocial.com and the web routes that serve the site.
Meta platforms (Facebook and Instagram) deliver the comment to us, and deliver the public reply and the direct message back to you.
Flodesk stores newsletter email addresses and sends the newsletter when that provider is configured.
Kit stores newsletter email addresses and sends the newsletter when that provider is selected.

Those processors may handle data in the United States. Meta, Supabase, Vercel, Kit, and Flodesk apply their own terms to their platforms.

How long we keep it

We keep the contact ID, name, comment text, and delivery log for 24 months from the date of the comment. After that we delete them, unless the law requires a longer hold or a deletion request is still open.

A newsletter address stays with the email provider until you unsubscribe or until we delete it after you ask. Server logs follow Vercel's retention for operational logs.

If you ask us to delete the app data, we delete the matching records within 30 days. The steps are on the data deletion page.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

Tell you what we hold about you
Correct a name or other detail that is wrong
Delete the data
Limit how we use it
Send you a copy of the app data we store
Object to our use of it

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, those requests include the GDPR rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability, and objection. You may also complain to your local data protection authority. Email us first if you want us to fix it: privacy@mrpaidsocial.com.

If you are in California, you can ask for access or deletion the same way. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Children

The site and the app are for people who run ads and for brands. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page will change with it.
